1. I’m so excited for Sweet Reckoning, as much as it’s sad to say bye to the characters. Do you have upcoming books or what are your current projects right now?
2.Your books have interesting and beautiful character names, like Kaidan Rowe and Kopano—it was brilliant ;). If you could have picked your own name, what would it be and why?
3.Most of us (if not all) who have read your books have a huge crush on Kaidan Rowe (**fan-scream**), what do you think makes him very appealing to women both to the characters in the book and to your readers? (In addition, have you seen this coming- fan girls falling for Kaidan?)
4.Talking about crushes, do you have a crush on an actor or a book character? Who and Why? (well, except for Kaidan—he’s a given J)

~ I've just started a new YA contemporary romance, which I'm calling Kiss Collector. No idea if it'll eventually get picked up for publication, but it feels good to be writing!

2.Your books have interesting and beautiful character names, like Kaidan Rowe and Kopano—it was brilliant ;). If you could have picked your own name, what would it be and why?
~
I've always liked the name Kelly. I obviously have a thing for K-names,
haha. I think Kelly is a fun and sweet name. Most of my character
names I found on the web by Googling unique baby names!
3.Most of us (if not all) who have read your books have a huge crush on Kaidan Rowe (**fan-scream**), what do you think makes him very appealing to women both to the characters in the book and to your readers? (In addition, have you seen this coming- fan girls falling for Kaidan?)

I think many girls (and I) love the intensity of Kaidan. Mystery is
appealing. So is danger. We know Kaidan is capable of breaking our
hearts, but he's so sexy with that accent and musical talent. We can't
help but want to obtain and tame wild, beautiful things.
4.Talking about crushes, do you have a crush on an actor or a book character? Who and Why? (well, except for Kaidan—he’s a given J)
~
I have a crush on actor Josh Hartnett. Not sure why...he has terrible
hair, but something about his eyes when he smiles and his deep voice.

As far as books go, I'm in love with Daemon Black from the
Lux series, and Jackson from Poison Princess!

About Wendy
After earning a bachelors in
Creative Writing from George Mason University and a masters in
Curriculum and Instruction from Radford, Wendy taught high school
English until becoming a mommy. Writing Young Adult (YA) stories gives
her the opportunity to delve into the ambiguities of those pivotal,
daunting, and exciting years before adulthood.
She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband, daughter, and son. Sweet Evil is her debut novel.

DeleteLoved the interview. Always great to here from an author. I read Sweet Peril & Sweet Evil just a few weeks ago and I finished them all within 2 days. Loved them so much. I would absolutely by thrilled to own them so I could them read again and again. Thank you so much for the interview and the giveaway.
