Blurb about the book:

Frey
The Frey Saga # 1
The Blurb

Unaware she's been bound from using magic, Frey leads a small, miserable life in the village where she's sent after the death of her mother. But a tiny spark starts a fury of changes and she finds hersef running from everything she's ever known.

Hunted by council for practicing dark magic, she is certain she's been wrongfully accused. She flees, and is forced to rely on strangers for protection. But the farther she strays from home, the more her magic and forgotten memories return and she begins to suspect all is not as it seems.

ONE/TWO word/s that describe “Frey”?
I get "WILD RIDE" a lot from readers.

I agree, “Frey” gives me a roller coaster ride while reading it..:)
Can you give us ONE sentence why we should read your book?
It's a fun twist on the classic magical quest novel.

Why was the book called "Frey"?
Elfreda means "elf" or "elf strength" which fits into the story line. Plus, I loved the play on "fray" which pretty much sums up her life.

So that was the reason, very well-thought of..:)
If you would become one of the characters of your book, who would it be?
Ooh, this is hard. But I'd have to say Frey, even though she goes through so much. I think it would be worth it in the end.

I would definitely look for the sequel of this book even though Frey is a little bit dependent on her companions in “Frey”, so I hope to see more of her on the next one. By the way, if this would turn into a movie, who would be the main cast?

Jensen Ackles
I don't think I could cast Frey because she's so defined in my mind, but Chevelle and Steed could easily be the actors who play Sam and Dean on Supernatural.

Jared-Padalecki

That’s a great choice for actors..:)…Who knows someday, one of your books would be turned into movies. Though I agree, most characters are hard to find a great actor that would suit them up.

Music or Book? Why?
Depends on what I'm doing. I read to relax, escape. Music is the opposite, to get me going.

Love or Life? Why?
What fun is life without love?

Reality or Fantasy? Why?
I would definitely choose reality. Fantasy is a nice break, but if fantasy were reality, what would we read?

Could you please complete the sentences:
If I can’t sleep, I would - cuddle with my Kindle and read a good book.
The craziest thing I did - is probably something that I shouldn't post on the internet. ;)
>I thought I’d caught you on this one..lol

My greatest dream is - to be able to write full time.
The place I’d like to go someday is - Australia.
One thing people don’t know about me is - I feel naked without my iPhone. I pretend I don't need it, but I really, really do.
I wish I had written - Sense and Sensibility.

Is there anything else you’d want to add ?

Thanks Abby. These are fun questions!
:) Melissa

  1. Great Giveaway. To answer the question in the form ... Since I love angel and demon mythology, I would say my favourite supernatural being would be a fallen angel.
